About Doctor Shawn Egan
Dr. Egan was raised in Satellite Beach, and attended Patrick Air Force Base Elementary, Delaura Junior High and Satellite High School. After graduating from Life Chiropractic College in 1982 as the class Salutatorian and with the Clinical Excellence Award, Dr. Egan returned back to the Melbourne area and started practicing in 1982. Dr Egan's office is centrally located in Brevard County to better serve his patients. This facility also houses a neurologist, podiatrist and pediatrician.

As a father to 3 children, Dr. Egan has, over the years, had the pleasure of being involved in local athletics, he attended many softball, baseball, soccer, volleyball games and swim meets. He and wife Pam at one time ran the Satellite Beach Girls Basketball League (pre Police Athletic League - PAL). Dr. Egan served as coach for girls and boys basketball at Holy Name of Jesus School and was fortunate to have 2 undefeated seasons. He also coached AAU basketball reaching the state and national championship level. Dr. Egan also volunteered at Melbourne Central Catholic swim meets.

With his brother Andy of Egan Crane, Dr. Egan has participated in the building of 2 Habitat for Humanity houses for the community. His family participates in the Haven's Chef du jour program, providing a home cooked meal for the Haven (a home for abused, abandoned or neglected children), monthly.

As a lifelong athlete, Dr Egan has participated in marathons, triathlons, and weight training. In addition, his love of the water has brought him back to surfing. My experience in sports has allowed me a better understanding of the injuries that I see with my patients in all areas of sports and fitness. My practice is not limited to the spine; I see many joint injuries and treat them with much success. This success has lead various professional and Olympic athletes to seek him out for treatment.


Dr Egan represents Brevard county on the Chiropractic Board of Directors for the State of Florida and is the President of the Brevard County Chiropractic Society.
